I believe that coming to our lives fully engaged makes all the difference in the world.
I believe that we can create impact in a moment by the way we show up...at work; with our teams, colleagues, and clients, and at home; with our partners and kids.
I believe that being fully engaged is contagious, and that when we are, we call others to be as well.
And I believe that a little dare can go a long way in helping us step our of comfort zones that hold us back from creating the lives, relationships and results we really, really want.
I believe that we can all be heroes in our own lives and that being a hero is often about being willing to dare to step out of comfort zones, in service of another person or the greater good, in the context of our lives.
I believe that "daring to engage" is not a onetime thing; it's a mindset and something that can serve you and those you love and lead for many years to come.
The daring individuals I work best with...
- Are change agents who want to get something done and know they can get there faster and more effectively with a clear committed plan, great support and accountability. They know (or sense) that they don’t have to do it alone.
- Sense (or know) that engaging with others, in different capacities; will help them create more successful results (without wiping themselves out) in service of the bigger picture.
- Know that they always need to keep learning to be more effective.
- Are hungry to create change in their lives and/or impact
- Value their personal and family life (and want to feel more "balanced")
- Want to be more effective and are highly committed to their success.
- Are willing to do “their” personal work, take ownership, and
- Want to get the most out of our work together, and are ready to “lean in” and do the work (and have fun in the process!)
And we’ll do really well together as you see that being an effective leader is not just about you, but about inspiring and supporting those around you in their growth as well while you create powerful results together.
What gives me great joy:
- Hanging out with my husband and two children
- Playing tag with my kids
- Exercising and extreme self-care
- Pampering myself
- Reading a great book
- Continuing education and training (I have an insatiable thirst here!)
- Cooking a great meal when I have the time and space to fully engage in the process
- Being fully engaged in the moment (no matter what the moment…)
- Being a step or two ahead of my own schedule
- My work, I love this work and love seeing what happens when people do it with me
- Eating clean
- Daring others and taking on dares of my own!
- Rainy days inside
- 72 degree breezy days at the park
- Picnics, fairies, and heroes...
